Illinois High School Basketball - Sycamore nips Neuqua Valley
November 29, 2023: Sycamore, IL 60178 Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), 59-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sycamore upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL) to play the Cavaliers in a Interstate 8 bout on Saturday, December 2. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 4-2. LaSalle-Peru won 59-33 in their recent non-league bout against Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley bout, on Friday, December 1. Neuqua Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 58-39 non-league loss to Geneva (Geneva, IL).
