Arizona High School Basketball - North Canyon nips Independence
November 29, 2023: Glendale, AZ 85303 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ), saw North Canyon's basketball squad hold off Independence by a count of 36-34.
With the victory, North Canyon upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Matadors in a challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Patriots play the Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 31-18 non-league win over Washington (Phoenix, AZ).
