November 29, 2023: Clayton, NC 27520 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) and the host Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC), saw Athens Drive's basketball squad hold off Cleveland by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Athens Drive improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Cary (Cary, NC) to play the Imps in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Imps come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Cary won 45-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Sanderson (Raleigh, NC)
Next up, the Rams play the Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Cleveland will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 64-41 non-league win over Southern Durham (Durham, NC).
