November 29, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), saw West Mesa's basketball squad overcome Pojoaque Valley by a tally of 60-44.
With the victory, West Mesa improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Elks/Elkettes confront the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
