November 29, 2024: Atlanta, GA 30318 The Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA) basketball edged the visiting McCallie Blue Tornado (Chattanooga, TN), 58-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Astros now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Stephenson for a AAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, December 3. Douglass will play a Jaguars team coming off a 70-58 non-league win over Creekside (Fairburn, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, McCallie falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Blue tornado travel to Mt. Bethel Christian Academy (Marietta, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
