The Downtown Magnets Suns (Los Angeles, CA) basketball edged the host El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA), 36-32 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Suns now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Estancia for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 30. Downtown Magnets will play a Eagles team coming off a 56-42 non-league loss to Monrovia (Monrovia, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
