The Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) basketball edged the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), 54-51 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Zee-Bees now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Julian for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 30. Zion-Benton will play a Jaguars team coming off a 79-28 non-league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-2.
