Illinois High School Basketball - Kewanee sneaks past Princeville
November 29, 2024: Kewanee, IL 61443 The Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) basketball edged the visiting Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL), 39-35 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Boilermakers now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Erie-Prophetstown for a Three Rivers - West bout on Monday, December 2. Kewanee will play a Panthers team coming off a 46-18 non-league loss to Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Princeville falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Princes travel to Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Cuba/Spoon River Valley lost 55-22 in their recent league bout against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL)
