Palmetto Ridge Bears (Naples, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Monsignor Pace Spartans (Miami, FL), 50-45 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Palmetto Ridge upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Monday, December 2. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 3-0. Bishop Verot won 46-16 in their recent non-league match against Donahue Catholic (Ave Maria, FL)

The Spartans now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gulliver Prep for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. Monsignor Pace will face a Raiders squad coming off a 48-35 non-league loss to Hebrew Academy (Miami Beach, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
