In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Mount Tabor Spartans basketball team scored a good 45-30 triumph over the Northwest Guilford Vikings.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Forbush topped West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 59-14, in a non-league contest.
