The Northeast Hurricanes basketball squad (Oakland Park, FL), lost 71-54 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Booker T. Washington Tornadoes (Miami, FL)

The Tornadoes (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Edison (Miami, FL). The Red Raiders come into the 3A District 15 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Edison dropped by Hialeah Gardens (Hialeah Gardens, FL), 67-18, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Plantation Colonels (Plantation, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 1. Northeast will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
