The Dawson Eagles basketball squad (Pearland, TX), lost 62-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX)

The Highlanders (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Oaks (Spring, TX). The Grizzlies come into the 6A Region II District 13 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Grand Oaks defeated Clear Lake (Houston, TX), 86-74, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 2. Dawson will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 72-51 non-league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, TX).
