California High School Basketball - Pacific Ridge can't hold off Fountain Valley
November 29, 2025: Carlsbad, CA 92009 Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA), 53-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fountain Valley advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Barons travel to Northwood (Irvine, CA) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 3. The Timberwolves enter the match with a record of 3-2. Northwood won 56-41 in their recent non-league match against Tustin (Tustin, CA)
The Firebirds now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Ysidro for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 3.
