Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Pace Academy Knights (Atlanta, GA), 62-60 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hillgrove betters its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Alexander (Douglasville, GA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 3-0. Alexander won 88-87 in their recent non-league match against Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA)

The Knights now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Park for a AAAA Region 4 match on Tuesday, December 2. Pace Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 76-70 non-league loss to Banneker (College Park, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
