In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Riverdale Baptist Crusaders basketball team scored a close 71-66 win over the Takoma Academy Tigers.

The Crusaders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Quakers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Sidwell Friends was tipped by Clinton Grace Christian (Clinton, MD), 64-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 1. Takoma Academy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
