November 29, 2025: Deming, NM 88030 Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), 68-67 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Deming betters its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to face the Bulldawgs in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 23. The Bulldawgs enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Bengals now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aztec for a non-league match on Monday, December 1. Gallup will face a Tigers squad coming off a 54-36 non-league loss to Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
