Illinois High School Basketball - Lyons fells Lincoln-Way East
November 29, 2025: LaGrange, IL 60525 The Lyons Lions basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins to 42 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Hinsdale Central for a West Suburban - Silver game on Tuesday, December 2. Lyons will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 45-32 non-league win over Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Lincoln-Way East falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL) to confront the Vikings in a SouthWest Suburban game on Tuesday, December 2. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 3-2. Homewood-Flossmoor won 64-48 in their recent non-league game against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL)
