The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Howell Vikings (St. Charles, MO) and the visiting Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO), observed Howell's football squad defeat Lafayette by a count of 49-38.

The Vikings now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a non-league contest on Friday, November 10. Howell will encounter a Cadets squad coming off a 44-35 non-league win over Marquette (Chesterfield, MO). The Cadets record now stands at 8-2.
