Texas High School Basketball - Coppell can't hold off Argyle
November 3, 2023: Argyle, TX 76226 The Argyle Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Coppell Cowboys to 55 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Memorial for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 4. Argyle will battle a Warriors team coming off a 75-38 non-league loss to Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
The Cowboys (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against La Vega (Waco, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, La Vega was nudged by Amarillo (Amarillo, TX), 68-59, in a non-league contest.
