The Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) basketball nipped the host Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), 24-21 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Fabens (Fabens, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Fabens was tipped by Jefferson (El Paso, TX), 47-12, in a non-league test.
