Texas High School Basketball - Connally fells Copperas Cove
November 3, 2023: Copperas Cove, TX 76522 Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX), 49-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Connally upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cadets travel to Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bulldawgs play the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 7. Copperas Cove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 44-23 non-league loss to McCallum (Austin, TX).
