Texas High School Basketball - New Braunfels overwhelmed by Hays
November 3, 2023: New Braunfels, TX 78130 The Hays Hawks basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host New Braunfels Unicorns to 38 in the Hawks non-league victory on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hutto for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 7. Hays will battle a Hippos team coming off a 56-55 non-league loss to Manor (Manor, TX). The Hippos record now stands at 0-1.
The Unicorns (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Reagan (San Antonio, TX). The Rattlers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Reagan was routed by Holmes (San Antonio, TX), 39-36, in a non-league contest.
