November 3, 2023: Brookhaven, MS 39601 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Brookhaven Panthers (Brookhaven, MS) and the visiting Forest Hill Patriots (Jackson, MS), saw Brookhaven's soccer squad overwhelm Forest Hill by a count of 16-0.
The Panthers now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Pearl for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 7. Brookhaven will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Laurel (Laurel, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Forest Hill drops to 0-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Murrah (Jackson, MS) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, November 13. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
