Georgia High School Basketball - East Coweta tops Carrollton

November 30, 2021: Sharpsburg, GA 30277

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) and the visiting Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA), saw East Coweta's basketball squad knock off Carrollton by a count of 66-54.

With the victory, East Coweta upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Langston Hughes won 59-47 in their recent league challenge against Lakeside (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Hapeville Charter Hornets (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 4. Carrollton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 72-47 non-league loss to Creekside (Fairburn, GA).
