Texas High School Basketball - Celina ripped by Independence
November 30, 2021: Celina, TX 75009 The Independence Knights basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Celina Bobcats to 47 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tyler Legacy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 2. Independence will battle a Raiders team coming off a 74-27 non-league loss to Tyler (Tyler, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-8.
The Bobcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Denison (Denison, TX). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Denison was routed by Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX), 69-48, in a non-league contest.
