Virginia High School Basketball - Dayspring Christian Academy fells King's Christian Academy
November 30, 2021: Blacksburg, VA 24063 Dayspring Christian Academy Lions (Blacksburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting King's Christian Academy Lions (Roanoke, VA), 51-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Dayspring Christian Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Wirtz, VA) to play the Ospreys in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Ospreys go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy won 73-21 in their recent non-league bout against Fresta Valley Christian (Marshall, VA)
Next up, the Lions play the Southwest Virginia Home School Conquerors (Roanoke, VA) in a Virginia Christian - Southwest bout, on Friday, December 3. King's Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Conquerors go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 57-53 non-league win over New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA).
