California High School Basketball - Santa Paula nips Foothill Tech
November 30, 2021: Ventura, CA 93003 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA) and the host Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA), saw Santa Paula's basketball squad hold off Foothill Tech by a count of 37-36.
With the victory, Santa Paula upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Villanova Prep (Ojai, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 2. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Villanova Prep won 71-39 in their recent league challenge against Grace Brethren (Simi Valley, CA)
Next up, the Dragons play the Fillmore Flashes (Fillmore, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 6. Foothill Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Flashes come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 54-50 non-league loss to Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA).
