Illinois High School Basketball - Sandburg can't hold off Lemont
November 30, 2021: Orland Park, IL 60462 The Lemont Lemont HS basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Sandburg Eagles to 55 in the Lemont HS non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lemont HS now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shepard for a South Suburban contest on Tuesday, December 7. Lemont will battle a Astros team coming off a 79-50 league loss to Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL). The Astros record now stands at 2-4.
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers come into the SouthWest Suburban - Red contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Bradley-Bourbonnais edged Coal City (Coal City, IL), 62-23, in a non-league contest.
