Ohio High School Basketball - Portsmouth West edges Notre Dame
November 30, 2021: Portsmouth, OH 45662 The Portsmouth West Senators (West Portsmouth, OH) basketball nipped the host Notre Dame Titans (Portsmouth, OH), 51-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Senators (1-0) will now prepare for their test against South Webster (South Webster, OH). The Jeeps go into the Southern Ohio II test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, South Webster got by Green (Franklin Furnace, OH), 70-52, in a non-league test.
The Titans now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Clay for a Southern Ohio I test on Friday, December 3. Notre Dame will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 57-30 non-league loss to Northwest (McDermott, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
