Texas High School Basketball - Belton ripped by Vandegrift
November 30, 2021: Austin, TX 78730 The Vandegrift Vipers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Belton Tigers to 22 in the Vipers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vipers now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hutto for a 6A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, December 7. Vandegrift will meet a Hippos team coming off a 59-54 non-league win over Salado (Salado, TX). The Hippos record now stands at 12-9.
The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX). The Shamrocks enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Incarnate Word triumphed over Wagner (San Antonio, TX), 67-65, in a non-league contest.
