Alabama High School Basketball - Helena overwhelmed by Mountain Brook
November 30, 2021: Birmingham, AL 35223 The Mountain Brook Spartans basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Helena Huskies to 32 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hartselle for a non-league contest on Friday, December 3. Mountain Brook will battle a Tigers team coming off a 64-30 non-league loss to Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.
The Huskies (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Oak Mountain was routed by Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL), 66-33, in a non-league contest.
