In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Lanier Voks basketball team scored a decisive 54-31 triumph over the Southwest Dragons.

In their next game, the Voks meet the Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 2. Lanier will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 58-32 non-league win over Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX).

With the defeat, Southwest moves to 0-11 on the year. The Dragons travel to El Paso (El Paso, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 2. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 3-5. El Paso lost 39-25 in their recent non-league game against Del Valle (El Paso, TX)
