Iowa High School Basketball - Spencer knocked off by Sioux City East
November 30, 2021: Sioux City, IA 51106 The Sioux City East Black Raiders basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Spencer Tigers to 59 in the Black Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Black Raiders now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Heelan Catholic for a Missouri River contest on Friday, December 3. Sioux City East will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 46-44 non-league win over Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-0.
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Sioux City West was defeated by Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA), 67-46, in a non-league contest.
