Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) and the visiting Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), saw William Monroe's basketball squad overcome Fishburne Military by a tally of 52-37.

With the victory, William Monroe improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Dragons host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to confront the Flying Flucos in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Flying Flucos come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
