The University Trojans basketball team (Irvine, CA), was overwhelmed 62-22 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Downey Vikings (Downey, CA)

The Vikings now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yucaipa for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 1. Downey will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 62-27 non-league win over Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-1.
