California High School Basketball - West holds off Downey
November 30, 2022: Tracy, CA 95376 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the West Wolfpack (Tracy, CA) and the visiting Downey Knights (Modesto, CA), saw West's basketball squad hold off Downey by a tally of 37-30.
With the victory, West improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Pittsburg lost 72-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)
Next up, the Knights confront the Bakersfield Christian Eagles (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 1. Downey will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 59-17 non-league win over Garces Memorial (Bakersfield, CA).
