Alabama High School Basketball - Northridge tops Austin
November 30, 2023: Tuscaloosa, AL 35406 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL) and the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), saw Northridge's basketball squad knock off Austin by a count of 49-41.
With the victory, Northridge upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Black Bears play the Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 56-27 non-league win over Clements (Athens, AL).
