Florida High School Basketball - Mount Dora Christian Academy knocked off by Bishop Moore
November 30, 2023: Mount Dora, FL 32757 The Bishop Moore Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs to 52 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hornets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Highland Prep for a 4A District 7 contest on Friday, December 1. Bishop Moore will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 43-30 non-league win over Boone (Orlando, FL). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-0.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Sumter (Bushnell, FL). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, South Sumter ran past Zephyrhills Christian Academy (Zephyrhills, FL), 60-26, in a non-league contest.
