November 30, 2023: , Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Non Varsity Opponent (, ) and the visiting Bronte Longhorns (Bronte, TX), saw Non Varsity Opponent's basketball squad wallop Bronte by a tally of 62-17.
With the victory, Non Varsity Opponent improves its record to 15-40 on the campaign. The travel to Thrall (Thrall, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Thrall won 65-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Burton (Burton, TX)
Next up, the Longhorns play the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Bronte will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 47-44 non-league loss to Miles (Miles, TX).
