November 30, 2023: Fort Worth, TX 76105 The Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) basketball nipped the host Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), 56-49 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Elks (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Maypearl (Maypearl, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Maypearl got by Godley (Godley, TX), 55-37, in a non-league test.
The Parrots now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Carter-Riverside for a non-league test on Thursday, November 30. Polytechnic will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 81-30 non-league loss to Conrad (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
