Families of Faith Christian Academy Screaming Eagles (Channahon, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Calumet Christian Patriots (Griffith, IN), 64-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Families of Faith Christian Academy upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Screaming Eagles host Kankakee Trinity Academy (Kankakee, IL) to clash with the in a Freelance bout on Friday, December 1. The go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Kankakee Trinity Academy won 65-59 in their recent league bout against HomeSchool Resource Center (Monee, IL)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Calumet Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Fighting Eagles go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 61-23 non-league loss to Gary West Side (Gary, IN).
