Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) and the host Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE), saw Millard West's basketball squad hold off Columbus by a tally of 54-47.

With the victory, Millard West improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Papillion-LaVista South won 57-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Grand Island (Grand Island, NE)

Next up, the Discoverers confront the Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
