North Carolina High School Basketball - East Bladen nips Topsail
November 30, 2023: Elizabethtown, NC 28337 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) and the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), saw East Bladen's basketball squad hold off Topsail by a tally of 49-45.
With the victory, East Bladen improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Purnell Swett lost 66-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)
Next up, the Pirates play the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 62-61 non-league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
