Arkansas High School Basketball - Rison ripped by Emerson
November 30, 2023: Emerson, AR 71740 The Emerson Pirates basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Rison Wildcats to 15 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nevada for a 1A Region 8 contest on Friday, December 1. Emerson will battle a Blue Jays team coming off a 90-76 non-league win over Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR). The Blue Jays record now stands at 7-2.
The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton (Hampton, AR). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Hampton was routed by DeWitt (DeWitt, AR), 58-40, in a non-league contest.
