Texas High School Basketball - Granbury nudges Weatherford
November 30, 2023: Granbury, TX 76048 Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), 54-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Granbury upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Pirates host Lamar (Arlington, TX) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Lamar won 57-34 in their recent non-league bout against Godley (Godley, TX)
Next up, the Kangaroos clash with the Southwest Raiders (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Weatherford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-40 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, TX).
