November 30, 2023: Ewing, MO 63440 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Eagles (Liberty, IL) and the host Highland Cougars (Ewing, MO), saw Liberty's basketball squad overcome Highland by a tally of 62-52.
With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL) to confront the Panthers in a West Central challenge on Friday, December 1. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Camp Point Central won 57-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL)
Next up, the Cougars confront the South Shelby Cardinals (Shelbina, MO) in a Clarence Cannon challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Highland will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 60-31 non-league loss to Hallsville (Hallsville, MO).
