November 30, 2023: Moody, TX 76557 The Moody Bearcats basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Leon Cougars to 41 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bearcats now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Texas Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Moody will battle a Lions team coming off a 60-25 non-league loss to China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Granger (Granger, TX). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Granger prevailed over Vanguard College Prep (Waco, TX), 45-42, in a non-league contest.
