Texas High School Basketball - Lovejoy can't hold off Lincoln
November 30, 2023: Lucas, TX 75002 The Lincoln Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Lovejoy Leopards to 49 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Lincoln will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-51 non-league win over Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
The Leopards (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Tascosa was nudged by Hillcrest (Dallas, TX), 64-51, in a non-league contest.
