Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mile High Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO) and the host Vanguard Classical East Hawks (Aurora, CO), saw Mile High Academy's basketball squad wallop Vanguard Classical East by a tally of 59-22.

With the victory, Mile High Academy improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Twin Peaks Charter Academy (Longmont, CO) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Twin Peaks Charter Academy lost 43-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty Tree Academy (Peyton, CO)

Next up, the Hawks confront the Nederland Panthers (Nederland, CO) in a 3A/2A Foothills challenge, on Monday, February 5. Vanguard Classical East will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
