November 30, 2023: Kayenta, AZ 86033 Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Monument Valley Mustangs (Kayenta, AZ), 46-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Montezuma-Cortez upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Rancho (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Rams in a non-league game on Friday, December 1. The Rams enter the game with a record of 2-0. Rancho won 71-57 in their recent non-league game against Chinle (Chinle, AZ)
